Bishop James D. Conley

Bishop James D. Conley has served the Catholic Church in various roles since his 1985 ordination. After converting to Catholicism in college, he pursued a path to priesthood, earning a master’s degree in divinity and a licentiate in moral theology. He served as a pastor, Respect Life director, and Vatican official, even being named a chaplain to his holiness by St. Pope John Paul II. He was ordained an auxiliary bishop in Denver in 2008, and was appointed Bishop of the Lincoln Diocese in 2012.
